Welcome to Woodmont
We're thrilled you've found us. This site is the central hub for news, events, and updates from across Woodmont — a place to stay informed and connect with the neighbors next door.
We also post our newsletters on Facebook and Nextdoor, where you can join the conversation and share what's on your mind. Open communication is how we build a strong, vibrant community — please dive in.
The Woodmont Civic Association is a non-profit dedicated to promoting and enhancing quality of life in our neighborhood. Our goal is simple: foster a real sense of community spirit and cooperation among the people who live here.

Get involved
As a member of the Woodmont Civic Association you have the chance to make a real difference in your neighborhood. We rely on the support and participation of our members to keep this place running — whether you'd like to volunteer your time, share your skills, or simply stay informed, there's a way in for you.
Important: Please review our Neighborhood Covenant to understand the community guidelines and rules.
Here are a few ways to participate:
- Attend our meetings. Regular gatherings where you'll learn what's coming up in the community, voice concerns, and share ideas.
- Join a committee. Our committees take on specific projects — Grounds, Welcoming, Neighborhood Watch, Social — and they're always looking for hands.
- Volunteer. From organizing an event to a community cleanup, your time genuinely moves the needle.
- Donate. If you can't lend time, a contribution helps fund the work we do across the neighborhood.
To get involved or learn more, please contact us at board@woodmontbonair.com. We'd love to hear from you.
We need your help with design
Calling all designers and creative neighbors! We're looking for volunteers to help refine our logo and improve the website's visual identity. If you have design or branding experience, we'd love your help — please contact us.
Dues
Click here to pay your dues — $20 per household keeps the entrances lit, the grass cut, and the signs standing.
Woodmont is a beautiful neighborhood in the Bon Air area of North Chesterfield, Virginia. We're bordered by Huguenot Road, with entrances on Penrose, Shoreham, Dillion, Dolfield, Woodmont, and Astoria. St. Edward Epiphany School, St. Edward Catholic Church, and Huguenot Road Baptist Church sit along our northern boundary.
The Woodmont Civic Association has evolved into a voluntary neighborhood association, originally chartered as a corporation with an elected volunteer Board of Directors. The WCA oversees the upkeep of the entrances at Shoreham, Penrose, and Woodmont Drive, including:
- Lighting and utilities
- Landscaping
- Signage
It also organizes community committees — Grounds, Welcoming, Neighborhood Watch, and Social — whenever there are enough volunteers to staff them.
Please note that the Woodmont Civic Association (WCA) and the Woodmont Recreation Association (WRA) are two separate entities. The WRA owns and manages the Woodmont pool, recreation building, and surrounding facilities on Traymore Rd. The two organizations do, however, partner for various events.
Purpose
The purpose of the corporation is to unite the citizens of Woodmont in all civic efforts, with such efforts being directed toward making this community a better place in which to live.
Membership
Any adult who is a resident of the area known as Woodmont may become a member of the corporation upon payment of dues and approval of the Board of Directors.
